I'm surprised I placed 24th in the EVO race. I was using an xbox360 controller which I found very tricky to get used to and I only did a few hot laps as a result. Just goes to show a wheel is not necessarily needed in this game :)

VanPanther is gamepad driver, Giannopulis is keyboard driver... so , yes... it´s not necessary if you can master any other controller... exept...keyboard i think have a lot of disatvantage, because you cannot drive ideal line...

I think the pad did work against me when driving the M23 though. I found I had to heavily adjust the steering lock to even make it drivable. I think I landed on 11 degrees before it would stop it hopelessly understeering in fast cornering. Maybe the pad is suited to certain cars more than others.

Wheres the reserve list?

The reserve list basically anyone who qualified in their respectful rttw.

Anyone of the highest position will enter first and so on and so on.

It depends 70% on the guy in p1. I think he will decide when to start after pace car comes in.
I really hope that this time our poleman will wait until he reaches the start/finish line ;)

Yes, exactly! Just as it's stated in the initial post:

Reserve list will be formed by the Simraceway staff member, basing on the drivers available at the right time.

There's always a chance, so good luck  :)

The car averages about 3.5 L a lap (with full tank so 200kg more, must be much less with less fuel) so for 59 laps you need 206 liters, the tank holds 191 liters.. so with good driving you could go without stopping.

Tell me again why there are FIVE mandatory stops?

Basing on the results of this http://community.sim...th-mclaren-m23/ and this http://community.sim...ace-off-33-evo/ poll, all three SRW Sunday Race-Off 33B, 33 Evo and 33A will have a Standing Start.

I have checked but i do not understand - cant see how pitstops should make the field closer, instead, like in previous races, pitstops cause problems and make even more people fall out.

it´s there to spice things a bit... but i feel B race should be longer to have a stop... 20 laps or so...

I totally get the reasoning behind why mandatory pit stops add to the spicing things up but I do think 5 stops is very excessive. 2 maybe 3 would suffice. 5 is just too confusing for both participants and spectators it seems.

So, there is no refueling during pitstops?  And there is no tire wear during the race, so what does the pitstop do?

Lukesky80, beautiful move on sending me into the barriers. Dunno what to say honestly. It was clearly intentional from the replay....

quali was sloppy, was well up in last lap but went out but good pole

race was full of lag and spiked out in the first lap many times, and from then on cars peformance was worse even after fixing it, it was unbearable to continue with such an emotional burdain. i have dominated endurance races without single mistakes for multiple times and would have loved to show it here with a car i was very comfortable but not possible with lag

i suggest next stage for this game to be full on optimzation to reach rfactor-level peformance

good starting point would be to not have all the cars intalled in the folder, i dont need 30gb of streetcars which i never use etc... just make an options place where you could choose what you have installed. and ofcourse all ingame stuff should be further optimized, put hard work into it.

there is no lag in real life, its important in a sim to do this.

and yes as post below me say, race format was not very well done. forced drama with 5 pitstops and limited fuel. i would have run out of fuel 100% aswell.

5 mandatory pit stops, cant add fuel during the race, end the race on lap 57 because youve run out of fuel

seriously?
