A shame that there is no B race again. Please shorten the race length and make a B race happen. Well its fairly simple - SRW cant make big Grids to combine A and B in the same Race so you cant run a 2hr race and just remove the B race completly. People dont like that for sure.

well, i know i better keep my mouth shut, but some things has to be said. RTTW is the only "big" race on SRW, and i allready started discussion last week, which even Ace joined... but there was no answer from Cossaco from then, and now will happen again. You see... there is 14-15 guys who can qualify anytime... then there´s some 5-10 guys who putt quite reasonable effort into their performance...i believe there was 5-6 drivers within few tenth to qualify in last race... which is better than Max Chilton can do and get the grid place (to be sarcastic!)

I do slowly lose interest to SRW lately... events are more hotlap sessions than challenges...which are only few now and then...quickraces are only good if there are some good drivers on grid, otherwise they count 0... so, the only event is RTTW, which starting to shape into alien championships... and same goes for Evo. Some guys mastered the car so much, that i don´t even go to try a hotlap there.

So, there you go... either you (SRW) need to go into another level - which means organising championships with different cars and different classes, so anyone could choose the level of competition... or give more grid spots for sunday races. There is at least some 20 - 30 intermediate drivers who are close but still far away from sunday´s a race...

Great idea Coss, loving these replication of real life events. It just makes them that bit more special to participate/watch.

+1 totally agree. We need some sort of varied championships available to more players on more levels of skills. Many ways of doing this but here was my idea again: http://community.sim...-championships/

eheh we can make fun only to get close to the aliens in this event, agree. We need more challenges; I start a topic on street challenge but it look like not so many members appreciate it <_<

most of all... before they cannot introduce championships, they should stick to A&B races. 28 drivers at least should have a chance to compete for something... even if it´s honour <_<. I also thinks, that no matter how recreate real F1 race of almost 2h... in this track, which is physically so demanding, it will means like endurance race for most on the grid. You even might finish with 5 surviving cars only. So... why not rather 1h A race and half distance B or something i wonder.

You should never hesitate and always speak out what is on your mind! I saw your comment last week and I believe that it was answered, just not directly.

When B race was firstly introduced, it's main purpose was to accomodate a second group of drivers into the SRW Sunday Race-Offs (positions 15th to 28th). To me, B never meant that these are worse drivers, just a second group and A/B was just a nice way to name it. That was working well for many, many weeks untill lately. During a couple last SRW Sunday Race-Offs it was hard to complete full grid in the B races. Only a half of qualified were regularly showing up on time. So I decided that we need to move back to the very exclusive character of Sunday Race-Off and last week the B race was cancelled. As you could see the prizes in A races stayed intact, because I didn't want you guys to get the impression that we tried to reward the top drivers with higher prizes because of that.

I was very interested what will happen and followed every comment regarding that, from the very moment that it was announced last week. There is a plan for B race made before this moment, just in case there will be a need, so I'll add it to this Sunday Race-Off.

Regarding the rest of your post, I have great news. We have just added Skillquant sharding to our events system. It will allow us to separate the Skillquant groups in events and host separate ones for each of them. Some of you got a preview of the way it will work yesterday, when it blocked you from accessing a couple events - that is all fixed now by the way. This will also be used in the Sunday Race-Off events. Not yet, but within days/weeks from now for sure.

Once we start using this regularly in the events, you will only be racing with drivers of Skillquant close to yours.  :)

thank you!

...just, when you couldn´t fill grid...well, usually happens with 20$ worth cars (Mclaren F1 example) . I guess, maybee would be good to track how many competitors runs in qualys. I believe vette was 100+ ...and 12-14% of those is kinda small number, while Senna Mclaren, you have maybee 25 drivers and B race as well.

I hate to see B race dissapear but i love longer races. I dont want to push the game as it has its problems now, but maybe its possible to fit more than 15 drivers in one server? Obviously its possible, i have raced with 63 other drivers in rfactor with z-e-r-o lag and problems but its all the job of optimization.

How will race rules will look like ? Rolling / standing start ? What amount of fuel will we have at the beginning ? Mandatory pit ? Fading lights ? :) Just to have everybody a chance for a proper practice session. Maybe it will help people adjust their braking points better this time.

One note: if we will have a long race, can we please use settings so that we wont have to pit like 5 times? 1 is totally enough and they didnt do much more in the real races either. Multiple pit stops can bring out bugs and stuff people cant forsee (like in previous long races) + if you litter a long race with long pitstops then it stops being an endurace race but instead many sprint races with resting pauses :P

1h 45min of straight driving, now that would be a true test

we are all still in the mist. Will there be a B race this sunday .. or not? Nothing added to announcement post though. I don´t feel much desire to throw away beautiful day to try and work my butt off for top 14. <_<
