Critical error SRM Download Manager

First off all sorry for my english (I'm german) ;)

If I start the SRM Download Manager, there's a critical error: "Could not connect to the Simraceway Update Service. Please try to reset the application. If it doesn't work, restart the Download Manager or the Computer."

So I can't download any car or an update. Reset or restarting the Download Manager/Computer is no use.

Hello Ohndi,

 

This issue usually comes about if your firewall is blocking the download manager. Please double check your firewall and allow Simraceway and also srwagent.exe (which is the download manager). Once you have done that, try a pc restart and check the download manager.
