Our track artists have found the potential reason of the issue and it seems like Risto's explanation below is the most accurate one here. We will update the track as soon as possible, within the next hours for sure.  :)

Update: this S/F bug is pretty much tracable to where you cross the line. If i go not from the edge of the track but a little bit to the left then i get problems 0% of the time

And then i started getting same thing with split timers aswell, suddenly some dont work so whole lap doesnt work.

This means the timing gates are just placed poorly on the track. Could be fixed quickly and before the race/ RTTW end if you guys really wanted i think

The Ariel Atom bug which forces us to start with full tank is a bit frustrating.

The hot lap event has become "the one who succeeds the fastest last lap, wins!".

To be honest, it's a realistic element of racing - to burn the fuel  :)

You are absolutely right. In real life though the car is filled with the desired amount of fuel, enough to complete 2 fast laps before the tyres start degrading. It would be great if this was the case because I would be able to try for a hot lap every 5 minutes (2 laps).

The current setup forces you to try only once every 30 minutes for a hot lap, providing you have not missed a second in the pits. In case you join the event in the 8th minute for example, you have absolutely no chance in putting together a sufficient lap time (cause the tank is still half-full).

The truth is that even real life race drivers are famous for their constant excuses when they fail to deliver, so I'll just focus in Caterham Event! :D

We will fix this bug for future, but it was caught too late this time, so I thought that this would be a good solution. Maybe should have stayed without fuel usage and then let everyone drive the same level of fuel...

i think it´s a great add on. Adds excitement and strategy a bit. And...it´s not so easy to achieve fast time in laps 11-14, car is lighter, but setup works better on board with 60l fuel.

The only thing that buggs me is enormous lagg while some players join. It´s no problem first 15 min of session, but last 10 crucial minutes it comes into play, because lagg usualy takes few seconds, not just one moment.
