As you will notice, the SRW Race to the Weekend with Atom has fuel usage enabled. This is because of a bug in it's physics that prevents me from forcing a 1 liter of fuel setup. It will set the level to 60 liters, regardless of setup loaded.

COOOL, Now  im really hoping for rain  this weekend. (ps dont tell my Rc Racers)   Hamobile has proven to have EXCEPTIONALLY close racing. back on TDT it was INSANE how close 2 equally capable driver's could get at the checkered.

I'm really gutted I am going to miss this one. It'd be really good to take part in this event. More my kind of racing. I'm not around this weekend though :(

Besides that though, this one is the final round of the season in my Sunday Race Off Championship. It is anyone's championship!

Just a bit of background info - acerockolla won season 1 of the championship and Axfitey won season 2 so these two really are going down to the wire to win this race off. Really close.

I was in a major hope that we will get  for this RttW a new track like Donington or Cadwell  or even Brands because we have one more week in this month, maybe next week with the MP4-28 we will get a new track   :P

And yes, this format is awesome,I like a lot both cars and the track too now that is almost like a new COTA  B)

It seems there are not trascurable issues regarding laptimes with Atom@CotA. I did few laps, first two laps i hadn't any problem and time appeared correctly, then after the third lap, chrono jumped all the three sectors and marked time on the first sector of the 4th lap, then again, other 4 sectors without chrono and then mark. There was frequently and clearly jumps of laps. I think it should be a big problem in race, someone could have some laps not counted. Pls staff take a look into this, it seems a serious problem.

Peppi, we are monitoring this, but so far only you and maybe 2 other people reported this. 300-400 already participated. That could as well be your local installation issue. Please try to remove everything related to CotA and reinstall.

I'm having the same issue as Peppi.

Okay, the issue was fixed after deleting the Cota files and reinstalling them as was suggested. Thanks coss.

*edit #2*

The problem seems to have been fixed temporarily, but now it is back. The time continues to go after crossing the start finish line after doing a few laps consecutively.

i think some more info on the process of selecting best times/DQ 2nd best times... could be posted

it sounds simple but once u think of actually doing it like writing a program sometimes it starts getting tricky...

i think mostly of DQ's might well change different peoples best times differently :)

and that pesky acer... he is 1st in both :P haha maybe he chooses :D

edit : i see the bug too...

intro new bug didnt fix the old false penalty bug which i see is still there...............

as for new bug hmm well i see why its happening maybe....

and i see some stuttering in some turns... another d4 @ sonoma ? :o

oh and lastly not as horrific as f3 car but comedy steering on atom... absurd

as of august 1st 2014 i am owed a prize from 7 months 3 weeks ago Sunday, 8th of December, 2013, 11:10AM PST (7:10PM GMT / 20:10 CET)

me too, sometimes some laps clock just doesn´t stop and you need to do two laps before you can run another flyer. Then, i had at least 7 or 8 ctd´s with no reason, sometimes game crashed even if i was in pits. I redownload car and track again and managed one session complete without ctd, but i did experienced ctd allready< in next session. Might be that Cota track after update is have some bug, because all the other tracks and cars works ok. Might cause some problems in sunday....

I met the same issue like Rockolla & Magico & Peppi, it happened 2-3 times yesterday, but without any game crash.

BUT in turn 12 if I get a bit wide - yet still in the middle of the track - I get penalty. turn 1 acts similar, but only if I take the turn tight.
hope I won't get stop'n'go in the middle of a race by overtaking someone on the outside line of T12, or the inside of T1
both corners are possible overtaking points, there will be plenty of action there.

anyways right now for me the biggest issue is: I can't decide which car I should race with :D Atom is the most challenging, so I'd normally take that fight....but I'm in a secret love affair with caterham cars :) hope R400 & R500 will be availabe sometime... ;)

Atom sessions are a nightmare. Every time someone joins I get really bad lag and always (it seems) when I'm on an improved lap. The Atom is so lively and totally exiting to drive, which makes it all the more frustrating when I nail a sector and then i gets ruins by the lag. Never really had this problem but I've heard others have.

Anyone else? With the event so popular it happens a lot.

1:54.785????????? Ace you nutter! lol. WD

BTW. Does anyone know what to adjust so I can get the slip angle feeling stronger. Probably just the nature of the car but I find the break point when turning in is too soft for my liking. Thanks  :)

Getting the same issue as adressed above, very often S/F line doesnt function.

And although ingame framerate gives me lies of 120+fps i find driving very jerky graphically... sad :(

Update: this S/F bug is pretty much tracable to where you cross the line. If i go not from the edge of the track but a little bit to the left then i get problems 0% of the time

And then i started getting same thing with split timers aswell, suddenly some dont work so whole lap doesnt work.

This means the timing gates are just placed poorly on the track. Could be fixed quickly and before the race/ RTTW end if you guys really wanted i think

At first congrats to both pole to Acerockolla but where the hell will he race   :o

I mean, one thing is when one has on one event better place then the other event but our alien called Acerockolla did what he does the best and now he is in P1 in both races so is now on him to decide where to race or on SRW?

I am experiencing the lap time problem once or twice in every Atom CotA session. I didn't report it because I thought it was already in the process of being fixed.
