Give me one downside of this feature and i will delete this thread. There is NO explanation why this shouldnt be enabled right now without any discussion.

It is a 100% personal option like steering lock and brake pressure, people who need it will be happy and people who dont, wont have any difference.

And its not like im asking for much, just change 1 line in your configs and its done. No need to ´dispatch´ your ´crew´ on it. Just enable it and its done. Its common sense... im sick of driving cars which lock fronts immediatly if you are not braking in a straight line.

for some specific racecars it should be actively regulated, like there's a button for it in the car

Yeah, i think this is good idea. Some cars difficulty for me because brake bias does not fit my driving style. And in long races more important change bb when fuel run out and change the car's weight. Moreover better pilots change bb in one lap for different corners.

I was waiting for more opinions, but none have arrived. So yes Tbolt, doesn't look like many drivers are interested in this feature.

This is a similar case as fully open setups, so it will increase the distance from experienced and professional drivers to everyone else. Also what you proposed, so actively regulated brake bias will take it even further. It's a very powerful adjustment.

We will need a poll for this one!

I believe it is very powerful adjustment  to.

So my proposal is to give us two default setups to chose from and everybody can decide for him self which one suits driving stile most .

Just found this topic. I think brake bias should be adjustable. a lot of cars brake really bad in srw, and brake bias would help that a lot. it's not that hard to understand how to use it, so i don't see why we shouldn't open it

Yup, this should be open!

We do even have hotkeys to adjust it while in race..

Even the SRW-S1 has dedicated buttons to it.

So yes, open it :P

We can give it a try in this event : http://community.sim...ls-amg-at-brno/

If Cossaco  makes it live . And then we will see how it goes in the future .

so can we expect BB to be open or is it going to stay with standard setup that very often makes racing cars worse than road ones?

Yeah latest GT car events with M3 and Vette are perfect examples, fronts lock even in straight line braking... a joke really

Risto, I won't even start a poll for this topic unless I get very sure that we are technically able to do that. That is keep the setup fixed, but expand open settings with brake balance.

Ah okay i understand.

How about giving more than one default setup, all identical except different brake biases? So you could choose between presets without the neccesity to change them, would that work?

But after that, again, really cant see a reason for a ´poll´, why would someone be against open brake bias? If you like it as it is, leave it. The amount of replies by others in this thread alone should be sufficient to do this small thing.

There's really no need to rush this, because if we cant do it technically, then this whole topic is closed right away.

Just be patient, I'll check all our options and get back to this thread once I'm sure where are we standing from technical point of view. Be sure that I'm looking forward to this and related opportunities.

I enjoyed the procar in the RTTW (50:50 bias was pretty good, still could put full brake in a straight line without locking rears), but it is beyond a joke to drive in the brno event

the front brakes lock in straight braking! Noone drives like that. Make the setups understeering, whatever, but dont be so retarded on brake bias.

If you cant figure out how to enable open brake bias, atleast allow high ABS. One small thing TOTALLY kills the driving.
