Incredibly beautiful Mount Panorama Circuit, also known as Bathurst is the most known permanent circuit in Australia. Home of the V8 Supercars' 1000 km race and Liqui Moly 12 hours race.

That and the V8 Supercars would be a lot of fun, though I think the scenery around the track would take just as long to make as the track!

its not a pernament track im quite sure, when its not being raced on its a normal road with 50km/h speed limit.
I was about to post this as a suggestion, i'd love to see this track.

Yes it is. It's like Nurburgring - a race track where you can drive with your road car when it's not used.

ive always thought it was a normal road. from what i know it has a speed limit, not many pernament tracks have speed limits

Ok, you're right. It is a public road in terms of law but it's completely seperate from roads system and it works like a permanent course because you don't have to build anything before an event.

it was originally build as a scenic route, however that was a mask for the plan to make it a race track :P they just wanted funding

but do the old track without the chicane halfway down the straight, then cars will take off going over the hump also which would be entertaining

maybe alternate layout for taking away chicane, otherwise no thanks. its not half way down the straight its right at the end, it serves the purpose of slowing the cars down before the final corner, was a death trap

yea it was very dangerous before the knink, into right hand corner, it skipped that that whole section, it was just a massive downhill straight, into right hand turn onto home straight, way to dangerous with todays speeds, although the cars don't turn like boats and fry brakes half way round track, any more either..lol

The 12 hour is currently on this weekend and the 1000 is only 9 months away. It's been far too long and we deserve to be given this track in the game. I mean who doesn't want to be flying up Mountain straight in a GT3 or zooming down cord at over 300kph in an F1 car. The ultimate challenge in Motorsport needs to be added to this game :)
