The active F1 driver Jules Bianchi, 25, has passed away from his severe head injuries he received in October 2014 as a result of his unlucky and fatal accident in the Japanese Grand Prix.

R.I.P Jules, we will miss you. A great F1 talent in my opinion, definitely deserved more. But at the same time, I'm relieved that he has resided in a better place. Nevertheless, it's sad news.

Can't believe it's been over 20 years now...since we lost the great man Ayrton Senna. Now fate decided its next victim in F1...I was watching the Japanese Grand Prix live and I just knew the result wouldn't be pretty...

When i saw the footage i felt numb after,it was such a terrible thing to watch,i hope that this will improve the track surroundings and they will pay much more attention to this like they do the cars.

Such a promising driver lost, lets hope its not in vain

My thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of Jules. I cannot image that the pain that they have endured.

Jules is gone, but will never be forgotten.

Even after 9 months of coma I was still hoping that somehow he would wake up one day. I am truly shocked and massively saddened to hear that he passed away. He was such a promising driver, and more than that, one of the nicest human beings to ever race in F1. It is a huge loss for the sport.

My thoughts go to his family, and also all of F1's little world.

Race In Peace, Jules.
