A while back there was a proposal for an oval championship and it seemed like a great idea! Would anyone else support a type of series event like the one at the link below:

It should be great fun to utilize the ovals we have with the Asphalt Mod!

I'm not a great fan of hour races, 20 or 30 min maybe.  Difficult to find an hour without interruptions.  Is it just me?

30 minutes in an oval would still be great fun! I just want this kind of championship to have support!

Have you tried the Phoenix night oval with the custom hotrod?  It looks fantastic with smoke/fog in the lights and a real Saturday night shootout flavor.

but we need an proper oval car... stock.

True, but for the time being the asphalt mod will do well enough.

I think rather than a "NASCAR" Sunday Championship we need a NASCAR LEAGUE. I don't think everyone likes ovals, sadly.

We could also use the dirt Sprint Car for the short oval rounds like Bristol and Martinsville, like a support series (think Xfinity but with these Sprint Cars).

I'm all for this though.

How about the FSAE or the SXJ4 on the small tracks ?

6XJ4 would work as another good one as a support series.

I like that idea Jll! We for sure can easily modify this into a league type event rather than a full on Sunday championship. In the next week I'll bring forth a new proposal for a league type oval series, so make sure to watch the forums for when it gets posted guys!
