Hello Everybody reading this!

Welcome to the Free to Play Championship thread  :)

As you can see, the whole summary part on the top is missing at the moment. Give it a bit more time, because there are many more details than usual. I will also touch the base on prize polls. Both 700-900 and 900-1100 will be slightly lowered, to cover the 500-700 group. I mean slightly.

All 5 lists of qualified to Race 1 live events are published and Practice events are available in Events > Hot Laps.

Good luck people!

OK here are the unofficial champ tables for:

Free To Play SQ 500-700 class

Free To Play SQ 700-900 class

Edit: OK acosta88 will be compiling the data for the SQ 900-1100 class.  Here is the table:

Free To Play SQ 900-1100 class

acosta88, if you will compile the data for the SQ 900-1100 class, I can make a page for that class as well.  I just need the data in comma-delimited format.  You should be able to easily export this format from your spreadsheet.  It needs to look like this:

"Name", "Total Score", "Race 1", "Race 2", "Race 3",

Example:

"firefall",     "70", "70", "0", "0",
"Alex_Djuzhen", "66", "66", "0", "0",
"nitrodona",    "62", "62", "0", "0",
"robnitro",     "58", "58", "0", "0",
"OraziusBack",  "54", "54", "0", "0",

If the order changes in the championship, the order of the drivers in the data must reflect that as well:

"Alex_Djuzhen", "112", "66", "46", "0",
"firefall",     "108", "70", "38", "0",
"robnitro",     "100", "58", "42", "0",
"nitrodona",     "96", "62", "34", "0",
"OraziusBack",   "84", "54", "30", "0",

Just send me a link to the text file and I'll get that up right away.  :)

Just to say to 900-1100 ppl: I won't join any race of this champ, so you can not count my laptimes on the leaderboard. Set times just to make replays to upload on my youtube channel.

Good luck with this championship guys!

I dont get it . In 4 hrs of hotlaping i did not notice so much fuel consumption . But in race ???? i had fuel for 17 laps but ran out in lap12 .

I know all about fuel estimator being wrong but it seems to me that evo was using more fuel than in hot-lap . And it was not only me who run out of fuel .

Wow, the SQ 700-900 A race was a complete mess for me.  I had to examine the replay to review all the incidents.

At the start of the race in Turn 2, MXisLIFE spun out FrostBeast02.  FrostBeast02 started P3 and was in P3 when he got hit, so I don't understand why the race wasn't restarted.  Someone else then hit FrostBeast02, breaking off his rear wing and ruining his race.  I almost came to a complete stop because he was sideways in front of me, and I got passed by five guys.

So then I settled into a good battle trying to pass wttnn1.  I couldn't pass him, but we were racing very cleanly.  But then at the end of Lap 5 at the last hairpin, culizeljko dive bombed me on the inside.  There was no contact between us, but he went where I was intending to go when I started braking (I was attempting to stuff wttnn1 myself), so I didn't have the space and had contact with wttnn1 when he started turning in.  I bounced to the right and hit culizeljko, who hit Mastrorocco, spinning him out.  At first I thought I pushed culizeljko into Mastrorocco, but upon careful review of the replay, he hit Mastrorocco a nanosecond before I hit him.  So the point is, culizeljko's dive bomb was not successful, he would have hit Mastrorocco whether I touched him or not.  Evidence:  Attached File  culizeljko_mastrorocco.jpg   241.99KB   0 downloads  culizeljko is making contact with Mastrorocco, but I haven't touched him yet.  I'm showing this just because it probably looks like I created the chain reaction, but it was really culizeljko who created the whole incident.  I raced cleanly with wttnn1 for the first five laps with no contact.

Then on Lap 6 MXisLIFE got sideways in front of me and almost came to a complete stop.  As he tried to recover I had contact, spinning him out.  OK that was probably my fault.  Then by Lap 9 I had caught up to gymwhaley and was pressuring him.  On Lap 12 coming over the Turn 3a crest heading down to Turn 4, gymwhaley went onto the grass on the left, and I saw my chance to pass him.  Unfortunately he got a little sideways and came back onto the track sideways and we collided and went off the track to the right.  Well that was just an unfortunate incident, but that was the third time someone got sideways in front of me in this cursed race.  And that resulted in three people passing me.  So I ended up finishing P10 instead of P7.  Just a mess.

Glad this is over and looking forward to the karts!  :)

I did not practice much for the race , I thought I would not be competitive in the evo .... but it was a pleasant surprise to qualify p2 ..... and the race was pretty comfortable run in p2 ... towards the end Seggadhila ran out of fuel , handing me the lead ... and I noticed I would be having trouble with fuel too and I was forced to slow down and short shift , allowing Suzuki to catch me up..... but still the fuel was not enough as I ran out with one lap to go ... felt a bit foolish ... but the short run I had done in hot lap , the evo consumed less fuel ... but then in race , on most laps I was within the time I had set in hot lap ... so that was where it all went wrong.... anyway it was good while it lasted ....

I know all about fuel estimator being wrong but it seems to me that evo was using more fuel than in hot-lap . And it was not only me who run out of fuel .

Ive HotLaped 26 sessions ( same popoCZ ), testing various tire pressures and monitoring fuel consumption changes. No one can convince me, that the fuel consumption was the same. I only wont argue anymore, because reading comments like " are you racing for the first time noob? " is loss of time for me. 13 laps there = 13 litres. Only its a risk, because on straight before last turn i everytime had 0 litres remaining, and sometimes happened i ran out couple metres before finishing last fastest lap. So i added 14 litres for any case, even if i know that drafting in race ( which is not in hotlap ) should save me some fuel... This fact about radically different fuel consumption I checked on my replays while testing fraps  video capturing in hotlap mode...

So answer to some comments: I maybe have BIG reserves in skills, but i know how to set my fuel and car at all. Anyway, i am not complaining about finishing position or so, i will count with it next time. I only dont like when someone makes me a fool...

Btw my calculations according to my consumption in race is that fuel consumption was maybe set to 2x or Evo was heavier...

Its not blaming anyone, its just fact..

About this event, i've been hit for the third time from behind and so damaged for the result....

At Mid-Ohio i was fighting for 3th position, at Zandvoort 4th-5th position, here i had a bad qualifing(14th) and after a conservative start, at 4-5th turn i was 8th behind Gymwhaley having a correct fight with him and wttnn1 who was behind me(a particular congratulation to wttnn1 because we had a beautiful fight and i tryied to pass him in all sectors at last lap).

As Kobayashy told, at 5th lap culizeljko hit me at last turn and i lost 4-5 positions.

I can say that i've been lucky at 12th lap because Gym and Koba had a crash ending in 8th position...

In first 2 races of WTCC i hit some guys not for my incoscience(a bit...), but because my breakes pedal goes on 80-85% giving me some matters.

Now i changed my wheel-steering having much confidence with this and solving those troubles!

Thank you Coss for this great work!! :)

Its not blaming anyone, its just fact..

hey, for sure it was something wrong with the 900-1100 B race, at for sure was not the drivers fault

maybe one of them put fuel to the limit, but for sure not all.

personaly i respect these drivers because they can drive faster then i can (at least for now on keyboard, maybe i will get a wheels in the future) , and also because they drive clean races (not crash someone on purpuse)

Keep up the fast driving don't let the fuel problem get to you. :)

Atleast is little bit weird when from 14 drivers finished only 6 i think, almost all the rest had fuel issues... And cant say that only happens to beginners like i am...

In practice he was a distance back for a few laps, until he tried a stupid pass on me by late late braking.

He cut into the normal line and hit me, like Koba says, divebombed.  In real life racing people rarely, ever do this because they know it can cost their car, but games is where it gets annoying, because no, sorry, Damage on does not deter people from taking risks... especially if they are back.

Btw, you have done this too in the past, not anymore though as you have progressed.

So maybe he/she will learn not to do this too, or maybe he/she is just going to always be super agressive lol.
