Currently the ride height on the Mazda RX-8 is way too low, its like it is slammed down to the ground, this should not be the case. It looks like the RX-8 is using aftermarket Coilovers instead of proper Stock Suspension

To add another thing about this car is the gear ratio, which has always been wrong, the car has barely 4 usable gears because of the absurdly long gear ratio compared to the real car, the later has a spread ratio too but not that big. If I recall correctly the one in game does around 170 kph in 3rd and the real one does 150 on the limiter.

Did some research for the gear ratios, according to the specifications from Mazda UK found here:

http://www.mazda.co....x8_brochure.pdf

The Gear ratios for the 6MT Transmission are as follows found on page 30 of the above PDF:

1st:  3.76
2nd: 2.269
3rd: 1.645
4th: 1.187
5th: 1.00
6th: 0.843
Reverse: 3.564
Final drive: 4.444

In the game, the gear ratios are shown as the following:

1st: 3.76
2nd: 2.27
3rd: 1.54
4th: 1.19
5th: 1.00
6th: 0.84
Reverse: 3.76
Final drive: 4.50

I've bolded the out of spec gear ratios

Thanks guys! I put this ticket in the system and updated the topic with the bug ID. As for the other issue with the gearing, it is already in our system. If you are interested, the bug ID for that issue is SRWG-3990. I also updated that issue with the information j_smith provided above.

Thanks again guys,

Dawson, Just a question and likely a quite stupid one... Where should we input these bug IDs in order to see how they are going?

Hi Lucas,

There currently is no place to input to check the status, that may be part of a longer term goal but currently our internal bug tracking software does not allow for it.

The reason we now add the ID's to these is to create a paper trail that we can check and get updates and so that you know it has been reported and is with the relevant teams.
