i'll upload just pics for now and maybe answer your questions but i think all 'll be able to understand what i do with pics :)

i use a f1 t500,  10 new buttons, some aluminium sticks (make it more solid), 2 pads with 4 directions but they 'll have same assign both :( .

i'll connect 6 buttons like they are actualy connected to the g27 rims and i'll connect 4 buttons and  the 2 pads on the gearbox motherbard of g27. this alst one 'll be insert in the g27 basis.

i wanted a more big project at start but this one 'll take me already a lot of time and the baby is coming next month :)

but with this configuration, my f1 g27 will be able to navigate in menu of ps3 and 'll have many possibility on computers :) and allow to set a full pit on wheel in srw for exemple.

all have been tested with multimeter, all work but i found a way to have the 2 pads with 2 differents assign, for now all is connected to allow the 2 pads to have same assign.

if i decide to change it, i have to do again a lot of work so i don't know yet what i'll choose.

excellent work. I don't see any paddel shifters, perhaps not mounted yet. do you plan to add a tach light strip?

I have a similar plan, after I get a g27 or 25. picked up a semi functional srw s1 wheel for cheap, plan to mount it on my dfgt base. i use the dfgt for now.

i look forward to more pictures, in particular the mounting to the base.

have you done any work with SLIMax manager?

another idea i have is some kind of clip on mount for my fully functional srw s1 wheel. i want to be able to mount it to a ffb base yet easily remove it for travel use with my laptop.

So now i can use old rim or this one, i just need to remove 6 screws :)

i modded it for only 4€50 (price buttons) i already had an old t500 f1 addon breaked :)

but it took me near 40 hours + to do it^^

i kept some secret like where is gearbox motherboard ( pad and buttons are connected on it) but i only have original power supply, pedals original usb output connected to wheel
