Thanks coss for this crazy round 1 lol. I apologize to anyone involved in the small incidents after the hairpin, please take my stop and drivethrus as a token of respect . This proves i need to improve more of my maneuverability on the esses. All i know is the next race will be a bit better since we are all familiar with this track.

Well done Wolf, great way to come back. After last races, I was expecting you to leave early, but instead you've finished both races and P6 in the A group. Bring it on!

not the way, i expected to make my first race in 900-1100. crash at start wich wasnt my fault, but couldnt avoid, wich made me pissed. but i felt that even with no restart,  i had to go try my best. and needed 2 laps to finally get my wing fixed, after that i could only get to the finish, but later my pace seemed stil okay. what i didnt expect. managed an 11th place because some people didnt finish. it will be hard to get competitive in 900-1100, but i will do everything i can to get some good results. and still have a 100% finish percentage. a small positive of this weekend. i would like thank target chip ganassi for the uportunity to race for them. i will get results for them :P ;)

I no longer get as severely gutted when i hit someone, it is going to happen at some point and it's best to take the responsibility and continue on.

Then you keep riding to find some drivers have it worst than me hehe...

"#Progress" right coss? ;)

I didnt have good practice but had lucky quali, i picked up lukesky80 draft and got pole half a second faster than my pace lol

Also the start i was super lucky, my finger basically made a mistake and came off the LC button, but the start was given at same time too so my reaction time was maybe 0.001 lol

Grivi retired, shadow pulled away so it was just cruise control to 2nd place for a nice day of results :)

Btw here is what happened to grivi, legit physics...

Yes, it's not ideal. There's a puncture on your rear right tire missing, which would most likely happen after such a hit in real life.

Well thats not the point, ok if he didnt hit my rear wheel guard it could have been a puncture, no more than a broken flap of front wing for him, losing % of DF (yellow damage), not the whole front wing flying 150kmh in the opposite direction lmao

the dmg multiplier is too high

Looking forward to round 2!

Congrats to Krasse_Action and to everyone who joined the 500-900 A race, and thank you for the good, clean racing. I'm very happy with my podium finish and looking forward to the next race!

BTW, anyone care to shed some light on what happened with the live-stream yesterday? For me, watching the other races, especially the 900-1100 A race, is almost as fun and exciting as it is racing in one of them, so I really missed that.

I went ahead and put about 15 minutes of practice in at Mid-Ohio today. The default car is very easy to drive and doesn't jump around like a bouncy house like I thought it would here.

I made a quick video with my ghetto race rig for fun.

Risto-Launger,

I can only agree 10000000% that the front wing is ridiculous, like it is made out of paper.  You figure a wing that can create enough down-force to hold the car upside down would be stronger.

But, I am of the extreme camp which I know gets laughed at, to not have damage- but let coss assess penalties/black flags for over agressive driving etc - the chatroom guys could be the spotters and report behavior?

I myself drove very conservative, scared of this damage, but even hitting the curbs, I felt - ouch I hope the wing doesnt go!

In Lemons SC 2008 (the only real race I was a part of besides direct drive karts- which you are scared s%^& to get too close LOL), there was a little bump and grind at times, usually not on purpose, but due to differing brake points or lines.  The super agressive people who tried to ram their way in, got greeted by black flags.  Sometimes the official would even ban the driver from driving at all, making the other team mates take over, lol.

Here's my buddy driving and getting hit real hard- enough to get us 10 or more degrees camber!  But the car was still competitive... the mustang was not ;)   With the current damage multiplier, 2 wheels would fall off , or handling would be shot - and then pits would pretend to fix your car- but be sure to fill it up with gas, Lol
