Btw if someone is struggling under braking with new setup, its because i set the default brake pressure at 90%, it had been 70% before.

90% with high abs is what i found to be the quickest but then you need to put some throttle under braking. If you drive one pedal at a time then 70% is good

Using the occasion, I also extended the range of final gear ratio, because it feels like we could use it!  ;)

Yesterday for some time i actually though i had it figured out, somone said that srw is stimulating the karts in pdc and since they are often rented to beginners they might very well be tuned to maximum understeer and no power

but who am i kidding, look at this video

its definatly identical track to sonoma and the pdc kart

Look at the steering, look at his hands, look at how the kart does not spin as its skipping on brake lock in a straight line since its wider from the rear, look how the kart is being corrected every corner when its on the powerband, look how instant the powerband is yet look how it understeers without the power. look how he uses steering angle to help kart brake, in low speed the understeer works as front brakes. sorry but none of that can be one ingame, our kart is literally opposite of all those things. no slip angle, no sliding allowed, linear power, no rewards for holding rpm like in real kart

you guys are really proud that you have done big timeconsuming work so kart can cost 2.5 dollars and it has taken too much effort to be any cheaper but really, only changes i have seen to the kart in like a year that actually had some effect are: fuel open so you dont have to drive with 11L anymore, my own setup and driver model (damn it should be harder to NOT have a driver model than to have one since rfactor has it as default). it took me 10min to make the setup, it takes 1min to not have to use full tank and to remove driver models from rfactor takes some time for sure so we end up with minus time

oh and to adjust steering lock from 18 to 24 must have been a result of many months of research too... i still use 18 myself tho

you cant have a fun race with karts if you have to squeeze the wheel to not allow muscle memory to correct things that are not there in the sim, in real life if you make a mistake in kart then you lose speed, get overtaken and start attacking back. that is karting, very close, atm races are not as fun because you have to focus too hard to not spin or whatever, that is one reason evo racing is also so close because its easy car to drive and hard to put into wall, then you have more time to push. karting is exactly same but instead when evo you can rotate without problem, then kart you can slide without problem.

im not joking when i have said many times that take your tyre physics from masterati 250 or ariel atom or any old car and just slap it on the kart. make the engine curve real like a turbo and suddenly you have a much better base that actually allows slding, look at that video i posted again. and again and a ******* gain

you cant stimulate ackermann steering and one wheel lifting up to turn anyway but its really not hard to stimulate the feeling just by that one video

its like when im told to build a house and i go jerk off for a few days, then if someone asks where is visible progress, i defend myself saying ´´but i put so much effort into it! i fapped like crazy look at my hands they are so tired, stop insulting me personally i worked day and night to fap this hard! how dare you spit on my face!! its complicated business market you dont know what you are talking about!!!´´ i belive srw efforts but i cant apperciate efforts in the wrong direction

(((this is 100% friendly feedback only at kart nothing else, put it in the list of bugfixes you plan to do that you cant publish because market is harsh ahhaha)))

and again im posting rant in the champ thread because noone reads the subforums where you have to scroll down to

The Kart has just been updated!

It required a little adjustment to the base setup, which could be considered a fix. At the same time, I've lowered the default amount of fuel from 11 down to 4 liters, since that should be an amount needed to complete every single race that we host right now, from the shortest Beginner level Challenges, up untill the longest Championship Live Races.

That doesnt mean that Championship Live Races will remain the longest ones. There are endurance races coming up.

We will use default setup in this Round.

For some reason coss has reverted to the old kart setup, dropping the one which all of you guys said handled better (and it did)

Now kart drives like it did a month ago, understeery and snappy. Why he did that ask him because i cant comprehend. He says to know better than us how kart handles better, in my opinion this is step back.

Yes, the update mentioned above contains a few key fixes to the default setup. Ones that you had included in your setup. This is partially the reason why I saw a good opportunity to give it a shot. Right now default is adjusted properly.

If there will be a strong voice demanding your setup, we can consider it for the next round. For now we'll run with this default and see how it goes. It's a good, neutral setup.

Just had chance to test the kart at Paradise Bay and going back to the way it use to handle doesn't feel right. Too understeery for a tight technical track like this, I'm having to re adapt back to the way i use to drive it. Can't we have the latest set up here? The last 2 rounds felt like progress but now it seems we are going backwards.

A bug with the kart or in the track "Paradise Bay". Since the srw kart update, every time I have a crash, then blocked the brake. Only at Paradise Bay.

I have to close the game and start new windows. Then it goes again.

Coss, Launger now has 2 wins & 1 second. If I win the last round and Launger second, how does final standing get worked out?
