I agree with Launger, a much less understeery default set up would be ideal to just jump in and drive although I wouldn't mind testing open set up for 1 month's championship to see if it works out.

I've not actually done any testing in practice mode kart so can't set any opinions on that and unfortunately won't get time to before January.

Ok, so the question is - would you guys be so kind to share setup suggestions with others, like Ecnelis  :)

I would be happy to share set up's if I had chance to test them myself but unfortunately this week I will only have time to do a few runs on the week 3 event and the live race. On sunday I also leave for winter vacation in Canada so no time to test before January championship. Sorry.

During January I will be able to give set up suggestions though.

Open setups sounds good to give it a trial.

Sorry for the off topic here for a moment but please check out an idea I've had for a new event:

Please post replies to it there though, not here.

@Launger you put up a great fight mate hitting the front for both of our races, you were unlucky to touch the wall that looked like it sucked you in. Unfortunately I had nowhere to go to avoid you because I was in your tow right behind.

Have fun in Sonoma. I am going on holiday from next week so won't be doing it. Good luck.

Well done to Jekyll for the win.

Merry Christmas all

Nice touch only putting 2L of fuel in the default setup, its already more than enough and the kart handles much much better with this fuel. More lively yet still controllable. Multiply this change by 3 + give the engine curve more of a difference and you have 100% accurate kart :)

Yes, something that I had on my mind for a while! Glad that you like it.

Congratulations to elitespeedway, the Sword Master of Simraceway.

Finally I enjoyed this championship but, as Jim Morrison said, this is the end. I start a new job on Thursday... new year, new life.

See you soon guys.

All prizes won in the December's edition of Simraceway Karting World Championship are in your accounts!

Thanks to all of the participants and congratulations to top 15. Especially elitespeedway who takes the crown back and Launger for a very strong debut.

January's edition will begin next week and have a couple changes (some similarities to the format of Evolution X WC):

- no more weekly, points scored Challenges, but a qualifying Hot Lap with top 8 moving directly to the  points scored Live race

- Heats and Live races timeline on Saturdays remain

- 2 Heats instead of 3 and podium (top 3) from each qualify further

- 3 best Live race results out of 4 count towards the final result

- prizes pool moves up 3 times

These details are close to, but not final yet. I'm still researching.

Greetings!  :)
