Hello Everyone and welcome to the 50th Simraceway Race to the Weekend and Sunday Race-Off! At the moment of posting this thread already in a very advanced stage of qualifying, but as usual - Saturday will decide, so good luck to those who are still on the edge.  B)

Special edition and special gift for you guys, which is a unique guide to Circuit of the Americas prepared by Matt Bell, who is a United Autosports Audi R8 LMS Ultra driver. We get this opportunity to drive a virtual version of his car in Simraceway  :)

Have a look at the Blog (click on the image):

We hope that you guys will find it very valuable! Please let us know if and in what way did it help you  :)

Details of all Race to the Weekend and Sunday Race-Off 50 events can be found in their threads:

For Skillquant group between 500 and 700

For Skillquant group between 700 and 900

For Skillquant group between 900 and 1100

Supporting event with BMW 1M Coupe

I didn't specify any details of pitstops in the threads on purpose, because I'd like to hear your opinion first. Let's make a vote and discuss one of the options below:

1. No mandatory pitstops

2. SQ 500-700, 7 laps, no mandatory pitstops / SQ 700-900, 14 laps, 1 mandatory pitstop / SQ 900-1100, 28 laps, 2 mandatory pitstops

3. The above plus 1 mandatory pitstop to each

The way it would work is exactly the same as during GP of CotA last week, so just to make a stop, without a need of any service.

Good luck in the qualifiers!  :)

Why isn't there an A and B race for the top SQ class? That was something we discussed earlier and people agreed it would be a great option.

If you look at the 900-1100 leaderboard, you can see how competitive everyone is. The top 14 is within 1,5 seconds and the top 28 is even still within 3 seconds!

And another thing, the 500-700 only has 10 entrants and 8 times set. So sunday we will get a race between 2-3 people   I'd rather see an extra race in the 900-1100  :)

I would prefer no mandatory stops :) I dont feel that they add anything if there is no real strategy going on, maybe only visually decive the stream watchers but 98% times all drivers take the pit stop at same speed so nothing changes.

Maybe if it was oldschool F1 without speed limiter and you would have to spot your stopping place very accurately then it would be a challenge but with speedlimiter it isnt

this 700-900 / 900-1100 thing is rediculous. the laptimes between the old sq grouping were atleast 2 seconds different each group, now its made it very difficult to compete.

also why cota twice? theres much more fun, and less frustrating tracks to race on than cota. im just getting angrier and angrier at this track.

i´m not too dissapointed for not having a shoot to top 14... but i do agree that 900+ have lot more good drivers than those 14 E.T.´s! :P

I vote for closed sessions next weekend quali races, now in the last day evening when i could be doing my fastest laps there is always 6+ people on the track and the lag is unbearable. 25fps normally with under 10fps in certain sectors. 90% track fault but the thread i made is without attention.

Meanwhile AC @ 60fps stable :)

No A and B race because low SQ demanded their race (and prizes)... rewarding only people who spend so much time to became very best is so unfair...

Good afternoon... My vote is for number 2, but i'm not sure if I made it or not for it to even matter. I was 12 with 20 min left. Does any one have the results?

if it won't add tactical elements to the race, and we can run the 28laps with one tank of fuel, then my vote is 1.

Please make sure to check the lists of qualified/ eligible drivers in the original threads (links in this post) and prepare yourself in the practice events. You can find them in EVENTS, but also QUICK RACE lobby.
