The modern circuit can accommodate five different layouts, with the recently-completed 3.67-mile, 18-turn "New Grand Prix Circuit" replacing the 3.19-mile, 17-turn "Bridge Grand Prix Circuit" as its primary configuration in 2010. The renowned venue also hosts GT1 World Championship, British Touring Car Championship, World Endurance Championship, MotoGP, British Superbike Championship, and European Le Mans Series races.
