Loving the 100point split. Works in my favour for a change.

cruuz currently has faster laptime in 500-700 than the fastest in next class up... i dont think its fair to have somone capable of being next class up in this class.

Don't forget, if peeps are new, their SQ rating might be way off. And if their times are that good the SQ will go up quite quickly. I gained 5 points in one day a month or two ago when I was really in the zone. It dropped pretty quickly too, after I injured my wrists and couldn't drive properly. There will always be someone out of sync with SQ by its very nature. Its a moving target at all times.

Personally I think SQ is finally working properly, check out how close the 800-900 class is, just one tenth will shoot me up 3 or 4 places!

Just did a 1:56.413 (whoop) and its not updating (yet)

Having looked, its only a tenth or two dude. Besides, its possible for someone with low SQ to get one good lap together, the hard bit is stringing them together.  :P

at the time i posted that he was .3 of a second faster.

edit- i talked to coss earlier and it turns out he entered a higher event so his time in 500-700 will be disregarded. (i also raced him along with magicsquirrel later same day, and he was over 1k sq)

I see your time in RTTW 800-900. Your time 1:56.228, and 5th place.

The times do not appear immediately in leaderboard.

Ingame and website leaderboards updated every hour.

1:03 PM, 2:03 PM, 3:03 PM.........etc.

Well, looks like this time ...i will not make the cut. :(  My problem... should be under : controllers section, but... since it´s very much connected with this event. I will ask here...

Anyone of you, uses old black Momo racing? Mine is...oh...probably 10+ years old, but still feels great, FFB is perfect... all strings and pedals are still tight. So... i wouldn´t change it even for newer wheel. But...sudenly, i have problems with throttle. Everything should work normal, even if i test with logitech profiler, pressing throttle, shows nothing. I even tryed to adjust throttle with dx tweak, so...if i press on 90%, throttle should be on hundred. And tests shows no failure, neither some twitching or oscilating under 100% pressure... but yet...some lap i manage 228km/h on the end of main straight, but sometimes i barely (with 100% pressure) hit 220. It vary from lap to lap... and straight to straight... so, rarely i get full throttle complete lap, which sometimes shows bizzare results  like - clean lap slower half second than previous ragged one. Tough if i will be able to catch one clean 55 lap with this anomaly....so, sadly i will make a pass to this event :(  not quite sure will i go some gokarting or not either...

So...anyone experienced something simmilar? Is there any other solution than buy new wheel? Then again.... which wheel! I´m somehow still so much attached to momo, that i would buy one from e-bay... prizes are still quite OK (50+ bucks!), but dunno in what state they are. I wouldn´t go much beyond 100 euros for a wheel... so...sofisticated expensive wheels are out of my league (as well as cockpits etc.) ... also (sorry SRW) i would never have a wheel not attacched to table, because driving with that wheel more looks like some swimming or dancing with hands...

ah well.... i hope i can sort my wheel to work as it should...

I use to use the black momo for ages before upgrading to G27.

The black momo is an excellent wheel and does the job for a great price second hand.

I would maybe suggest opening up the pedals casing and cleaning all from dust then spray with electrical cleaner. Did that with my G27 pedals a while back when the throttle & brake were doing a similar thing. Now there perfect.

After that, re-map the throttle & brake pedal in game. (maybe the brake pedal is spiking a bit and slowing your top speed)

Exactly what I will do soon, pots always skank up eventually. Worth doing semi regular anyway. Slightly off topic, but g series wheel owners may want to consider servicing the ffb motors if you are confident. The copper commutators end up with carbon deposits between the brushes and com, increasing the resistance of the motor. Eventually this resistance increases to the point of blowing the motor control caps/fets etc.. So its important to clean these deposits off. (RC racers from ten years ago know exactly what i mean, I still have my old com lathe lol)

Sorry to hijack subject.

I use Momo too now . I had same problem doing 100 laps races at oval. Some laps i could not get to the top speed . Do not know why . I did open an clean the pedals and sprayed them .  In mappings there is 100% throttle but in game on straits like you said cant get to top speed all time .( . Can you tell me (Dimagico ) more about program that you are using to calibrate throttle . You can PM me in slovenijan :)

hi ingange

I had that problem when i had my g25 wheel..

i made a video when i cleaned my pedals..

 http://www.youtube.c...h?v=NCWolRmjU0I

I had little spikes on my brake pedal and affected my races too :(

don't know if the video helps, but just to say you're not alone xD
