If I try to go to Simraceway.com I get a untrusted connection warning from Firefox.

If I go to the forums direct I do not get this warning. It just started this afternoon. This morning I was able to connect with no problems.

Sorry Guys, looks like Friday the 13th has hit us after all those years!

Our SSL certificate has expired, but because its a highest level one (EV) - it takes extra time to renew, due to required verifications. Might take a good couple hours before we're fully back up and the game is accessible again.

I didn't want to recommend this yesterday, because I hoped we would be all back up and running by now, but since it's taking more time - I'd like to recommend a trick that would allow you to temporarily get into the game and fully use Practice mode.

It's pretty simple: set your system date to one before September 12th/13th 2013, so for example 11th, 10th, etc. As mentioned above - Practice mode should work well, but none of the online elements.

Keep checking this thread for more updates!

Ok guys, another addicional tip.

If you, like me, use a time server to update your system time, turn it off.

Or it will update the system time before you manage to start the game....

We also got the Quick Race running, so if you use the tip above - should be able to do everything, apart from the regular events (Hot Lap/Challenge).

Hello,

I'm getting a connection error, I can't start the game. I posted here because I also got this untrusted site thing, maybe it's related to that.

Thanks

SRW, setting the date back, really? I will do one step further, erase everything and concentrate my ( precious ) time on a SIM that works. This is the drop that makes the water in the glass overflow.

I feel sorry for anyone wasting their time with this.

Yes, Friday the 13th has got us - that's all I can say. Apologies, but it was a true surprise.

Go for iRacing. They have good game! And great prices too!

I'll stick with SRW for sure... I think SRW offers a good game/support, and they are trying to solve this problem asap i beleive :)

You don't have to feel sorry for anyone :) Everyone is free to do whatever they want :)
