Thanks Coss, I take it we will meet in website chat before for driver briefing like the usual SRO's?

Good luck everyone and above all have fun. I won't be able to make it into chat tonight due to family commitments but rest assured that I'll be picking up on the stats in due course (probably monday).

If anyone has fraps or streaming capabilities, that'd be even better ;)

Congrats to elitespeedway again on his great winning streak. Not that luck has much to do with it, it's just his sheer skill on track that's getting his wins.  Here are the results from week 3 of this event (not including tonights Heat races - more on that to follow):

Super fun Kart races yesterday, the heats were perfect length to give everyone a taster of what the final will be like.

My heat went almost perfect, focusonrally made a much better start than me and took the lead for the first few laps but managed to find my way past when he went slightly wide on one of the turns. Good work man.

The final was a completely different story, Started on pole, focusonrally again made a better start and got the hole-shot, following closely behind on cold tyres I locked up and spun the kart, having to wait for the whole field to pass before I rejoined the track felt like an age. I was now at the back and having to play catch up I made a few places up each lap. Getting towards the end of the race I was following MrJolly through the chicane and took a lot more speed through there, accidentally tapping his kart and spinning him (Really sorry MrJolly) These karts rotate under minimal contact. I stopped and waited for him to pass before rejoining the race. Eventually I got past Jolly and was following Raptord who unluckily spun it on one of the last few laps which promoted me to 3rd.

Sounds like Nelsenior and focusonrally also had a cracking battle up front. Can't wait to watch the replay. Super driving guys.

I think a few adjustment to the heat format and this would be perfect. Maybe 3 heats with 5 qualifiers from each. This would take up less time for everyone as I was waiting for about 2 hours from my heat race to the final.

Thanks again Coss & Rick for this event.

Congratulations Nelsenior, focusonrally, elitespeedway and everyone that took part. I can't wait to see the replay file too. Thanks Coss for doing the hosting of the event. I'm really pleased I ended up being able to make it to the chat to witness it live.

Some changes are needed as you say elitespeedway, It went well but there's always room for improvement. I know Coss has a few suggestions also so we'll have a chat and get some changes together for the next one.

Here are the results from the Live race last night:

post-33-0-33699800-1379864212.jpg

Nelsenior's win takes him up to third in the championship, relegating Mr_Jolly to 4th place. Quite an important victory I think, well done Nelsenior

Here are the championship standings now following last night's action- Elitespeedway hits 100 points:

For those that would like to see the replay, here is the link to the server replay file:

It is a really good watch! The battles between Nelsenior and focusonrally were great as well as seeing elitespeedway come back through the field to take 3rd place after an early incident left him at the back of the runnings.

For those who missed it, Week 4 event is LIVE and will end as planned, so at 12:00PM on Friday the 27th! As stated earlier, there will be another live race on the following Saturday at Sonoma Kart - details to be announced (there will be a couple improvements comparing to last week).

These are the deciding moments, so best luck to all participants   B)

So the 2nd live race of this championship starts later straight after RTTW finishes. Who's turning up?

You didn't have to qualify from previous rounds so just be in the web chat right after RTTW.

Was really good fun last week so hope for more of the same in this one.

We have a couple, little improvements in today's Heat Races format comparing to last week. This is due to the amount of time that it took to run them last week, what resulted in the live race being very late. Please have a look below.

Start: 12:30PM PST / 21:30 CET / 8:30PM BST

Track: Sonoma Kart

3 Heat Races with top 5 from each qualifying to the Live Race

Heat Race: 5 minutes Qualifying (it was 10 minutes last week), 1 minute Warmup, 11 laps Race

Live Race: 10 minutes Qualifying, 5 minutes Warmup, 22 laps Race

Other details: find them in the initial post

Meeting as usual, on the website chat

If you have any questions - post here or catch me on the website chat  :)

Good luck guys!

Congrats to focusonrally for his victory this week in the Karting Challenge at Sonoma! Elitespeedway had to settle for second position as the heat on the tables are turned up for the final week of the championship. Great stuff guys. It's all to play for in tonight's Live race!

Wow very exciting end to the championship, Gratz to focusonrally for the win in week 4 event and the 2nd live race you really drove well and made it so close on points.

Also Gratz to MrJolly for 3rd overall by 1 point, great effort.

That was another tough live race. After qualifying on pole I still knew I would have to work really hard to take the lead in this race. Once the race started and we got to turn 1 I realised my ffb had gone but managed to make the first few corners. Without feeling in the steering I lost it just after sector 1 and ended up almost last again :(

This is when the comeback determination kicks in, battling my way back through I lost it again touching a kerb and without ffb feeling to know how to correct it I went off track. Eventually I made it back to 3rd to just scrape enough points.

Good effort to all who took part, even some guys that never drive the karts or these tracks.

Look forward to the next championship if there is one.

If you have no FFB, press the 'F' button, it resets the FFB  :)

Happens to me also very often.

Unfortunately my controller presets were lost before the race so i re mapped the wheel and pedals but the Reset FFB didn't have a button set.

Strange but I also lost presets before the race last saturday too but FFB worked ok then.
