Right so here is my setup for sim racing. Nothing special or hi tech at all but enough to do me just fine, be comfortable enough and not be too squished. The towels are probably the best kiwi ingenuity in the setup to hold the pedals in place (tried duct tape & didn't quite work and got no wooden blocks)

Well...I can't move it any closer. Unless of course I put some sort of a level to extend towards the seat, I could maybe place it above my feet.

Not Exactly My rig per say, But had a chance to Compare the wheel's side by side, RedBull Vs Fanatec

Surprisingly the "click" action felt VERY similar but lacked the mechanical Click feel the real thing has. Overall Felt pretty Awesome, FAR Lighter than i would have imagined, My Fanatec is quite a bit heavier.

And that how we (me&friends) tried oculus:

- Let me add that I think that the sim-racing experience will drastically change in the near future because of

- 4K monitors,

- Curved monitors,

- 3D monitors

- 4K curved 3d 120hz monitors

- and Oculus

- and morpheus

I wanted to keep this thread active  :P

This is my Racing Rig.  A bit of an odd mashup with hardware and the way it is all mounted but I like anyway.  Would love to get a better rig to mount it all to, but its difficult to plan.

If anyone has ever looked into buying one of these wheels, you will know that they are not easy to get a hold of. You need an invite code to buy one and then the waiting time for it can be up to 4 months. Because of this, if anyone is in fact interested in getting one...

I have an additional CSWv2 Servo Invite Code for the EU/Europe online shop that lasts until the 11th August 2015.  Please reply, message, find me anyhow if you need the code. (to transfer the code you require a Fanatec account and I would then need that account email).

I understand it is a very pricey bundle knowing that you now have to spend a lot of money due to price inflation, so I am not expecting any replies, but I hope I can help someone if they do.

Nice Gear Doodle,  One suggestion, Look into modding a Mugen MBX7 rear RC shock onto your brake pedal. Will make a World of difference to the overall feel.
