The Toyota GT-One, also known as the TS020, was created by Toyota Motorsport to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Famed for pushing the boundaries of aerodynamics—and design regulations—it sported a number of notable features, including cutouts to the inside of its front wheel arches. Its engine, which was based on the R36V twin-turbo V8s used in Toyota's Group C cars, was completely revamped by the marque's engineers who managed to coax a whopping 600 bhp from the 3.6-liter unit, giving it prodigious acceleration and a top speed of over 230 mph.
