well, i hope i'm wrong, but i think what is happening this weekend is killing the skillquant system...

In first, in past 2 weeks we had races only with the evo, the car that more people drive, have faster times because drive it every day, etc...And with all those things we have not full grid in all races...with a car that some people dont have i think we will see most races with 5 drivers or so...

And keep the evo race with skill quant 500-1100? that doesnt make sense really -.-

Last 2 weeks 1000+ are better 1 second then 900+, and they better then 800+, so this race will be evo 1000+, dont kill the skillquant thing please! we could have races split by 50 units of skillquant not 600..

Whwn i was thinking about other car to this weekend i was thinking in a megane, cheap car, close to the evo, it would be nice, for this weekend i have no hope with this car, but i hope that i'm REALLY WRONG, i hope it will be good races and the best for simraceway, but i had to left my opinion :-)

Combining the 500 and 600 and then lowering the purse seems a little odd ?

Thanks for pointing that out! I have adjusted the prizes and now they follow ones from last week's SRW Sunday Race-Off 35 SQ 600-700, so it's a 10% higher pool.

Other than that, a correction was made: SRW Sunday Race-Off 36 Evo has no prizes. This is the same situation as in the past, before we started hosting Skillquant separated races.

Hi.

Just to say that I think it was a very big jump, from astreet car to a GT2.

As I know all new accounts have the BMW 1M ( and I think all old ones too), so this was the way to go.

But I'm only one and I think high SQ players want to go to the RTTW/SRO's with cars that they payed for. Ok, nothing against it.

So give that to the 900 SQ and up.

The BMW 1M is harder to drive than the Evo, give that to the midle SQ players and the Evo to the lower ones.

Thats the way I think this should have evolved, not that big jump.

And that is my opinion.

I've picked M3 GT2, because it's one of the most popular high value cars and a great racer, which proved itself in two Race-Offs that we did with it in the past. Both had a good number of attendants.

Before looking at it from this perspective, you should look back to Race-Off events from the past. We started with entry fees, carried for a couple editions and then let them go because of the limitations, but kept it dedicated to the higher value cars (or even highest). All that because of the huge prize pool of $280 that is given away. It's meant to reward those who purchased the cars.

Race-Off with Mitsubishi Evolution X was promoted from being a supporting event into a main one, because we wanted to make a good introduction to Skillquant and also gather as many informations as possible. Right now it came back to the previous status.

I could do various cars for each of the groups, but then the prize pools would have to be adjusted to the value of the car. My purpose for this is different, though. It's meant to send a wide message, to every Skillquant group that we will reward for purchasing the cars, no matter if you are the fastest driver or not and that it's worth to own them.

Having said that, every new user is given the opportunity to win the Hot Lap with Mitsubishi Evolution X at SPDC, which is the highest valued prize that we have ever offered. It was an event available to everyone in the past. Free game, free car and such a prize.

Congratulations for everyone who qualified to the Sunday Race-Offs 36!  :D

Practice Quick Races are up in the lobby:

Along with the regular Challenge event, in a form of a "Track Day", which includes both of the cars and a long Practice session:

Quick Race with BMW M3 GT2 is 6 laps long - half of the top Skillquant group's race distance. The other one with Evolution X is 4 laps long, which also is half of the live race distance - mostly because it will be public and very popular due to the car.

If you have any concerns or questions, please let me know  :)

Make sure you come long before start, so you can have a brief chit-chat with the others and watch the higher/lower sq battles, too ! ;)
